Waste Spark???
Thursday, May 08, 2008 9:30 PM
A little back round first. I am an avionics tech with multi level intrests ( backyard tinkerer / inventor. I need to know if the ' 05 Cav has a waste spark.

More info? "With a 4 stroke engine, the crank rotates twice for every power stroke. The spark plug only needs to fire every 2nd time the the piston approaches t.d.c. This is not particularly convenient for engine manufacturers, so some generate a spark on every revolution". - This is called a "waste spark".

I really need the answer for this as it could lead to bodily harm or worse... NO JOKE!!!

Why the double post?

You only need to post a topic once, there is no reason to post the same thing over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over again.
