Wondering if the airaid throttle body spacer has any benefits over the OBX one...the OBX one is $40 on ebay and the airaid is $100 online...the only thing I can see different between the 2 is that the airaid says it has "power ports"...pretty sure they would both work the same, but wondering if the alky injection is able to be hooked up to the "power port" without having to drill a new hole...wondering what people have to say about the difference between the two for the use alky injection.

How can a piece of machined Aluminum be junk? there is nothing to it? I agree if you are saying they are junk for the reasons the companys claim they are good for, but as far as using them as an injection spot for Alky they work amazingly well. You don't have the risk of screwing up your TPS in your TB from alcohol (as i have had and many others have witnessed) And it makes for a solid mounting point for the injector.

I personally bought the AirAid one (mainly because I sell them and get them cheap) and two, thinking I could just screw in my nozzle into one of the pre drilled holes, but you end up needing to drill it bigger and threading in a nipple and then threading your nozzle into it. This way also helps out as you can thread on a 90degree bend inside the spacer then screw your nozzle onto it which points the nozzle and stream of alky right towards the s/c'er or intake and with the air flow, rather then spraying it in at a 90 degree angle to the air flow. Not a big deal if you just spray straight down (or 90degrees to the air flow), just I prefer to have it going with the air flow

So with that being said you could get the cheaper one and just drill your own hole. But which ever one you get I highly recommend taking a dremal or something and grinding out the spiral path out of the inside. For one it will be in your way of the nozzle so you have to grind some out any way and 2 it will will do nothing for you any way.

well since the price difference is quite a bit I may as well go with the OBX...I know they don't do anything for gains but like Josh F said, as using it for an alky method its works well, which is what I am doing, not for the "claimed" power gains.

Just double check on how thick the two are... If you need i can go and measure mine but if the OBX is any thinner then the AirAid one, don't buy it. The AirAid one is about as thin as I would go since you still have to drill the new hole.
Also some of the lines that hook up to the TB will be a lot tighter, now I can not remember if i had to get a longer hose that goes to the evap solenoid or not? I think it was do able just very streched with the spacer in, and when I had the supercharger out i just pulled the hose off the solenoid and went down to a parts store and bought the same I.D hose just 1.5 or 2" longer and put the old fittings into the new hose and hooked it up.
