I hope I'm writing this post in the right forums, if not please forgive me.
I was just wonding if anyone could give me an ideal of where they think I should go with this.
I have a 2000 Cavalier with around 72K miles. I am the second owner and I know the first owner
probably neglected the car a little. The engine is about ready to pop. I'm going to check with the
mechanics today and see where the problem is. I have about two months and three grand to work with before its gonna start getting real cold around here. I did a little window shoping and found that Mantapart offers short blocks for nearly half the price of a new engine. I wanted to know if it would be better to drop in one of their blocks or just start fresh with the whole shebang. Please advise.......I've been giving this a lot of thought and don't plan on selling the car for a while.
Manapart(however its spelled) is NOT a good company to deal with. Sure they'll take payment, but them shipping you products is a whole other story.
you can always get a rebuild kit for your engine.
and MantaFart sucks

Im a Xbox 360 fanboy...and damn proud of it!!
Update....yikes. Its actually the top head. *sigh
Thanks, I was wondering why they weren't mentioned much.
What do you think would be the best way to go. Fix the one I have or just buy another.
I haven't had much luck looking for a low mileage engine for a good price here in Nebraska lol.
I would like to just put in a 30-45K one is possible.
Again Thanks all
