I was looking around the site (which I havent done in about 2 years) and thought id post up on my 1/8th mile time

2005 cavalier 2dr 5spd base model (and I mean base)

dont have any time slips handy this very second but my car will run 9.86-9.98 damn near every pass (bone stock, very bone stock)

this seems to be abnormally quick for a stock car I do have a vid though! anybody else run 1/8th mile regularly ?

video....

that's about on par for the car. equates to around a mid 15 sec. 1/4 mile.

Best of 10.15 lots of 10.2's. Mine is stock everything except the body kit. You probably get off the line a little better with the steelies vs my factory 16's.

My 1/4's were 16.28... Being stock, would the steelies really help that much?

You would be surprised how much of a difference that extra rotating mass/ weight makes..
