i want to buy a marshalls engine for my jbody but i want some information on the motor . for example hp specs, torque.and what makes it cost about 800.00 more than a stock 2.2..134cc ..the serial number for the marshalls engine is.......meig1345c....... i found it @ autopartswarehouse.com....send me replys if anyone can help@ cbtwitch89@gmail.com
That motor uses dark matter to eliminate friction via oil ionization. GM governed the output so to realized full gains you have to put a AC generator in place of the transmission and mount dual inline brushless motors on the rear end. You'll get better traction that way but DM is so freakin expensive these days, IMHO not worth the extra 800 bucks.

marshall is just an engine rebuilder. an expensive one at that. i rebuilt my own engine for less than 1/3 the cost of the marshall, and that was including the tools. it's just a stock rebuilt engine, nothing special. buy an engine from a yard for $4250 or so, and buy a complete rebuild kit from
northern auto parts. you MAY want to pick up a set of pushrods, and a crankshaft. i did, and am very glad i did.

WHAT KIND OF JY'S ARE YOU GOING TO?!?!?!?!?
Obviously none around here, since they all went belly-up over environmental reasons.
Go beyond the "bolt-on".
Marshall sent me a F*cked up 2.4 back in 2006... minor leaks started a few months after getting it (after the leak warranty expired)... so in between oil changes i had to top off.
8 months before the 3 year warranty ended, i got a wrist pin tick, followed by 6 months before, the head blew (At the time i thought i was a valve tick). they acted like they didnt want to honor the warranty at first, but then they turned around and allowed me to do the labor, since i work for a dealership, and replaced the parts...
so all and all they did the right thing... had i known it was a wrist pin tick, i would have had them warranty the entire engine... it was just pulling teeth to get them initially to do anything.
it was officially decided that my head failed due to a bad lifter. it took 2 years 6 months and 40 k miles to explode
