Some simple green, scrub brush, wash mit, car wash soap, garden hose, detail brush, wax, polish, armor all, and a lot of elbos grease...

^^^ wow, very nice.

horsepower is the force that determines at what speed you hit the wall, torque is the force that determines how far you take the wall with you after you hit it.

I normally spray Gunk engine cleaner, let it sit for a few minutes, then hose it down with the water. Cover your battery, alternator, fuse box, intake filter, and anything else that looks like it shouldn't get wet. Then turn on the engine and let it run for a few minutes.

Doesn't come out PERFECT, but comes out pretty damn close and clean. Ecocav definitely went more in depth.

dirty
clean
i used gunk engine degreaser to get all the @!#$ off, then washed that off, then wetsanded the valve cover and fuel rail starting with like a 200 grit or something to bout a 2,000 grit i think i went to, then topped it off with "mother's own?" i think that's what it was called aluminum polish, takes alot of time to wetsand everything but it's worth it imo.

You should see EcoCavs bay in person. Pictures do it no justice. Very clean, probably cleaner than when he drove it off the dealer lot.

One question and one statement.

Question: how does this not fall under the maintence forum?

Statement: you have absolutely way to much time on your hands but, looks great!
