i need my kit painted anyone in chicago area?
yeah i know someone, he runs a body shop, and they do great work, had my cobalt repaired by them 3 times, lol. Its Gerber autobody on cicero and belmont. I had my type j painted there, and it ran me 500 and it comes with a life time warranty. email me if you want to meet up, and ill take you over there. but you need to have the kit off the car inorder for it to be cheaper. let me know.

My buddy paints outta his uncles garage. He's done all his race cars (dirt track), he did his uncles Thunderbird SC (looks friggin' beautiful). But, his uncles garage is all the way out in Kingston, IL. I did a generic Mapquest of OP to Kingston, came up with 1.5 hours, lol.

mike how much cheaper will it be if its off the car?
o yea i have the type j and tell him ill sand it down for him thanks
well, like i said, ii dropped mine off, and it was painted black when i took it to him, and he only charged me 500. im pretty sure i can get you the same deal. and thats not too bad considering that it a polyurethane kit. and when you go to install it, if it dont come out right, he will help you get it on there good. he did it for me. and like ive said, ive spent way too much money in that shop for him not to hook me up. lets put it this way, at least 10,000 was spent there, between my cavalier and the wifes cobalt. but ill try and find out tomarro okay.

Hahaha, I was actually considering offering my "rattle can skills" earlier, but I know I'm too lazy to paint it for him, lmao

Eric, trust me, this is the same guy who painted my type j, and on the car or off the car, the guy uses so much flex it wont chip or have stress marks. Remember at the indy bash, i caught my front bumper in the grassy area after i registered, and it made a loud ass thump, and wala, no cracks or anything. the only place i had the paint chip was the side skirts b/c i caught them on a speed bump that is now in my alley, and i had the car full with people and i caught the top of yet another man hold cover. but he has offered to repair it. so no worries here.
