does anyone in MD, DC, or NOVA happen to collect comics?

are you interested in going to something different, and at least mildly interesting?

i just found out about http://www.spxpo.com/index.shtml - the Small Press Expo. i'm sure some of you are already rolling your eyes, but hey, it's not your typical stand-in-a-parking-lot-and-be-bored scenario, now is it?

it costs $8 to go for a day...$15 for the full weekend(though i don't plan on doing that). now i'm sure you're thinking WHY THE HELL would i do something like this?

well - i like supporting indie comics. particularly, the one who draws www.creaturesinmyhead.com - he's nutty, and he'll be at the expo.

sooo anyway - anyone up for a jaunt to this expo for a few hours so i can get an autograph and possibly a tattoo design out of the man?
