im gonna need a paint job after this winter. ill need a base coat, so i can get the whole car custom airbrushed, then ill need a few coats of clear, and some pearls(1 or 2 possibly) but not just yet

Hmm, well this is tempting - I have a few ideas and things I want to do, I actually tried getting a hold of u a while ago about it
One idea is i want the top half of my car black, and keep the Viper blue i have now, but I want the blue to fade into the black on the main part of the car and on the fenders (carbon fiber) have the blue fade into the carbon fiber
Another idea was a straight up two tone with the black following just under the window, no fade, just normal two tone, kind of like Cheeter's red sunfire.
And another idea is to do one of those two tones, and then in the carbon fiber (carbon fiber hood, the top part of the fenders, trunk lid, and spoiler) throw a blue pearl into the clear coat to match the blue on the car
On both two tones, the black would have a pearl or some kind of flake in it, either blue, or something like HOK's Black Diamond.
PLus I've always wanted to use some of Alsa's specilaty paints, but dont think i can work that into anything.

Im curious, though my car is being painted right now, in the process of fixing body damage from an accident a few months ago, when i finish with my exterior mods, ill be interested in a new paint job.
All i want is 1 color, Reflective silver. The same type of reflective silver as found on Highway signs. Im serioes too, always wanted to try that.

I need someone to install alero handles in my doors... they dont fit... I butchered a hole in my passenger door and I need a good body shop to fix it up (no bondo.. this needs some metal welded in there) and I need the drivers side door done. I can't weld door panel stuff and I heard its difficult
I also have a primered rear bumper I need painted to match the rest of my car, and a nasty paint chip in my front bumper needs to be fixed... and the handles I want installed need to be painted to match too
also, I have a nasty overspray on my passenger door from when it went to a body shop with my side moldings still on... ack help!

well, as you can see (in my reg) I just got all the body blemishes taking out of the Cav. I wanted to stay with the stock color cuz "i like it a lot" (said in the Jim carey dumb and dumber movie voice). I also wanted a little pearl added to the clear, but that's it. Once I get this clutch thing taken care of, I can start saving up for the paint job. Can you give me (via email if you'd like) some round aboot figure so I know where to set my sights? Thanks. BTW, you do very good job. I didn't know where I was going to go for paint until now...can I watch?

And yes, if any job I paint, the owner wants to help/learn/watch... they may. (provided the guy I'm renting shop space from isn't being an old cranky bastard at the time lol
