I have looked all around for a coilover kit for my 1992 cavabird (half original cavalier RS half sunbird) but all i find is kits for 95 and up. is there a kit somewhere i can use? i need new struts baddly and want to upgrade. i have the 2.2L with a 5 speed manual trans.

I don't believe there's any real upgrades available for your struts. Just stock replacements. Eibach makes a Prokit lowering spring set for them. I don't know of any coilovers or other suspension upgrades.
