I have a 2003 2.2 Cavalier with 55,000 Miles on it. I want to put the Bosch Platinum 4 Spark Plugs in my car. First, Where are the plugs located, and Second, are these plugs good for my Car. This car is going to have 200,000 on it before it is paid off.
I am sorry, I posted this in the wrong section.
if you have only 55k on it there is no reason to change the plugs , stick with the ac delco plugs that come with it Bosch is horrible

according to maintenance schedule if im not mistaken (i could be) it says to change them at 50k...im at 42 and was going to do it considering plugs aint that expensive.

Have to agree with Rodimus on this. Stick with the AC Delco's if you are going to change your plugs. I put the Bosch +4's in my 97 Cavailer 2.2 Liter recently and wondered why it was running like a dog. Put a brand new set of AC Delco's in it and all the power I had lost from the Bosch's was back and then some from them being new plugs.
that's cause all of ac delco r&d is on gm. i can't remember who bosch uses, but i wanna say it's someone european. as far as the dealership is concerned though, my 2002 2.2 wasn't supposed to have the plugs changed until 100,000 miles. when i pulled them around 60 somethin there was almost no electrode left and they looked like crap. i threw in autolites cause that's all the autoparts store had and i figured they were better than the beat up ones i had.
