I have a 2001 pontiac sunfire with the sun and sound package, I am wiring a carputer to replace my stock headunit. I am going to tap into the speaker wires to put sound through my pyramid 800 watt amp. I plan on keeping stock speaker
First question: Is the impediance of the stock speakers 2 ohms? If not what is it?
Second question is: With the Sun and sound package i have more than 4 speakers, are they still only wired through four inputs. I have found this:
Memory (+12v Constant) Orange
Ignition (+12v Switched) Yellow
Ground (-) Black
Illumination Gray
Dimmer Brown
Power Antenna Pink
S p e a k e r s
Right Front (+) Light Green
Right Front (-) Dark Green
Left Front (+) Tan
Left Front (-) Gray
Right Rear (+) Dark Blue
Right Rear (-) Light Blue
Left Rear (+) Brown
Left Rear (-) Yellow
It let me know what each color wire the speaker was connected to.... but if i have more than 4 speakers are they wired on different colors. I know i have 2 1" tweeters in the front along with like 2X4 1/2", and 2 6X9's in the back. If i tap into the 4 know speaker wires will everything else get sound?
