those are pretty old bro, that 540x2 was one of the very first amps i ever had (when i was 15, lol)
they aren't "good" but i guess if you can get it cheap enough, go for it. they sure do look cool.

i have a power acoustic 500x2 powering my 2x JL 12w0's. pretty old but sounds amazing, but that might just be the subs. Plus the fact i paid 50$ for the whole setup makes it sound a lot better. If you just have it sitting around i say why not put it in? you can always hide it if you are embarassed by it lol

omg i didnt know it was ancient . i took it from one of my friends i didnt know how old it was. but is their a way to can take it to circuit city or a stereo place and they can check it for me. my friend said its spose to light up blue is that true? im new too all this. i might just give up and buy a car thats already done.

why spend loads of money when if its works use it. it may be a oldie but it could turn out to be a goodie
my buddy also has the same brand that are almost 7 years old still working great.
also i need advice on speakers for my doors and ones in the back. and i think a sub soo help me out im new to the sound thing. right now i just have a decent cd player and i have a box in my trunk i think its just speakers soo i think ill be needing a new sub and door speakers and rear ones i heard alpine and pioneer ones are alrite ?
