Hey guy i am ready to start rebuilding my transmission for a turbo set up it is automatic and i was wondering what kind of of torque converter to get or what should i do to it to make work better than the stock one.

You can have the stock converter re-stalled by a transmissison shop. I have mine set at 3400 right now. Other converters will fit our cars, too, if you do your homework. Mine's off of a '96 Grand Prix.

When I had my 4-spd auto rebuilt this summer, I had a torque converter from I believe the 4T60 put in.... Same external dimensions, but a lot heavier duty internals than the 4T40... since they're used on 3.8L v-6's (and probably other engines too)... Its probably the same one Agent Omega is using from the '96 Grand Prix.

Yep--the 3100 Grand Prix runs a 4t60 as well.
