Stock 2.2L ECOTEC rings are recommended. For blown or
nitrous application it is recommended to increase ring gaps
to: .023 to .026 for top ring and .020 to .023 for second
ring.
From the GM Ecotec Book on Page 67.

Factory Specs are 1st ring .008-.016
2nd. ring .014 -.022
Anybody else wanna chime in?

Ring gap depends on your build. I assume you're going turbo again, Travis? If so, doing a quick search, I found this on Wiseco's site....
Click
So, according to Wiseco, for a "Blown Race Only" engine with a 3.4" bore, you're looking at
Top ring = 0.022" gap
2nd ring = 0.024" gap
...which is more inline with what the GM build book recommends.

I have no signiture

But am I a blown race only or a street moderate turbo/ nitrous?

Street moderate would be .017
