Will those injectors work with my application? also, can you go with an injector thats too big? in the instance, I want to run 7 lbs, And I buy an Cartech FMU and high gph fuel pump, would those injectors work? Sounds like a deal, Napa wanted like $130 per Z24 injectors.

I am using those 30 lbs injectors, low impedence, on my 99 2.2. The car will run very rich until you get into boost when the FMU takes over. If you have a cat on the car, it might be a good idea to take it off. I am not totally forsure, but running that rich might ruin the cat and cause it to clog. I am not running a cat or muffler on my car.

built rear-end,Dodge Viper spec T56 6 speed, bolt-ons = wheelies at the track!!!!!

nice ill look into that. oh yah btw, running rich will hurt your car, and also send you lotsa o2 codes, and also destroy your o2 sensor.

Yea it does throw a code sometimes...."front o2 too rich". I have had the same o2 sensor in there since August.

yeah i was playing around making them run super rich and @!#$, wow the boost bug has bitten the hell outta me

get a fpr and lower the psi to around 35psi then you shouldnt be running very rich at all that will make 30lb injectors into 26lb injectors which the computer can handle no problem and trim the slight amount of extra fuel, and then just use a fmu to raise the pressure with boost and you should be set as long as your pump can keep up with the amount of fuel needed
35lb injectors suck your lucky you can run 30's you can deffinetly do what i stated above and be fine with fuel, thats why ive been looking for 30lb injectors because i know i could get them to run good with that setup im stuck in fricken low imp land where no good ones exsist for cheap.... SAFC here i come lol

My 2.2 idles at 30-33psi and still runs VERY rich with those 30 lbs. I can tell by the black smoke, burning eyes, and black spots left on the ground.

no i was just playing turning the fuel curves way up making it hesitate, just experimenting, i have a fpr but i have no idea how to hook it up with my stock fuel rail actually im making a new thread in two secs the 30lb are perfectly in the midlle i can lean them out super lean and kill the car or go the opposite way and damn near have fuel dripping out the exhaust i love my safc thanks mr. pute for the resistor idea

o yeah thats right crap... your running the 2.2 ugg yeah they will still be to big at even doing what i stated my bad
perfect injectors for 2.4's though lol

no way they run superb w/ my safc i can make them run just like stock injectors or turn up the safc and let 'em flow

"dude, thats a girls car"

ahh thats right you got the safc, ive been looking into getting one of them

yeah i can tune the thing in seconds im not boosted yet but i know the hardest part of being boosted is having enough fuel under boost but also still be able to idle and drive normally so im pretty sure i have at least one side of the equation down like i said i love my safc iv ehad it for 8 months now so i know the thing inside and out a big thanks goes to Mr. Pute for the resistor idea oh yeah no cel either hahahahaha stupid obd-2

wierd, I thought you 3rd genners used low impedance type injectors...the ones in the link are Ford high impedance.
I am using the same ones for my s/c 3400 project.

up till 99 we use low imp, after that its high
