Aight, I don't know what the HVAC are supposed to look like after they've been cleared

Mine look like this

But if u look closely, then u can see that they are like chipped or broken on the sides and some in the middle, what should I do? Should I go out and buy new ones or what?

take a dremel or something to sand the sides down. thats what i did to round them out and get rid of all the lil plastic chips.

Or go get new ones, if you take it off very carefully you'll be able to see all the "teeth" that are around the sides. If you're careful about it you can remove the cover without breaking any of them and it'll look like it's supposed to.

Everyone's turn out like this cause the "teeth" are very small and brittle. If you want a quick way to fit it, take a small nail-clipper and just clip them off. Works perfect and comes out even.
