I just installed power locks and windows and also an alarm system, but for some reason the remote for the alarm will not lock the car just unlock it or vice versa, depending on which way the wiring is run. The instructions in the manual say to use a 5-pin relay to fix this problem but local stores such as Radioshak only have the four pin relay. Can this work or do I need a 5-pin relay?

You need the typical 5 pin Bosch relay. They dont cost much anyways.
