What would you guys expect to pay for this. granted this is the rear bedside skin on a small pick up truck.
I figured: $350cdn for the bedside quarterpanel skin, and another $350 for labour and paint.
$800cdn absolute tops.
Called up maaco...the dude quotes me $1200 for the bedside skin.
and $1300 in labour and paint.
$2500
Doesnt this sound Wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy off?

well where were you getting your "figures" from? a estimate manual? or just shooting from what you think it would be worth...thats a lot of work to do....
I don't know about Canada, but MACO doesn't get a good reputation here in the US. Their paint jobs are just horrid. Not painted in the jams, not correctly primed and the tape that they used just pealed off the brand new paint. Just a bunch of things they do wrong.

i priced out the panel online and did a rough estimate on labour and paint in comparison to other work i have had done.
Whats a Cavalier?
there is alot of work replacing a bedside. i no they are costly.
well anyone who wants a reference:
Private bodyshop is doing it for $450, including fiberglass panel and paint.
Maaco can enjoy loosing my buisness with their overpriced estimate.
Whats a Cavalier?
You get what you pay for.
