One of my buddies bought a Ford Fucous with the auto in it...........lmao this car is a real turd. I helped him put some bolt ons on it to see if it would come out of turd mode and the car is still a large turd. what is there that will bring it back from the toilet?

THANKS
Kevin

The SVTs are decent. I think you can buy some of the SVT engine parts and stick 'em on the regular engines for more pep. My gf has an auto focus. Eh, it's a nicer car than my Cavalier, but I think mine is faster.

indeed. they are pretty fun to drive because of that. Parallel parking is a piece of cake too.

get rid of the soccer mom transmission. power isnt everything... the great handling for an econobox makes up for it.

GM could only wish to make a fun to drive FWD compact like that.
The ONLY GM fwd compact I can say was as fun to drive as the Focus, was the 91-02 Saturn S-series.

If you have no power to get you through the turns of course you're going to think it handles good.

My neighbor bought a new focus.. It isn't that bad, really. The heated seats are a nice option. It does handle pretty good, but it felt a lot slower than my Ion..

Drop a 302 in it with a Mustang rear and then call it a turd!

as soon as you realize that handling has nothing to do with how fast a car can corner you will realize that the focus handles extremely well for an econobox fwd'er.

take your car on a track, and then take a focus out. you will be amazed at the feedback, steering, and adjustability the focus has at the limit.

Why is it always the slow guys that rave about handling?

Not many people are going to be running their 2.0, autotragic, 100whp focus around a track. There's no point in taking the corners fast if you have to snail through the straights.

Wow, you're an idiot and have obviously never went to autocross. You see a ton of focuses and miata's out there. Both of which are slow as hell stock yet do amazingly well.

Thanks for you words of wisdom. Now when did the auto 2.0 Focus become a autox sports car? Now your bringing up Miatas?

Nice try n00b.

The subject was a slow ATX Focus, not how many people take their stock Focus' around cones in a parking lot.

Moms 2000 four door SE focus is slower than my 95 geo prism, and I know hers can not handle anything.

x 2

I had a Focus as a rental and really enjoyed it! It was peppy i thought, lots of room (head and leg room too, which suprised me being 6 2 ) and handled like a champ

Also, I had an Sc2 93 and that thing was awesome.
