hey i was wondering what would the max weight and height be for someone to not fit inside a miata. my girlfriend is interested in getting one and ill be driving it time to time and im a pretty big guy and not sure if id even fit in that tiny thing. i fit in the sunfire perfectly btw.
I'm 6'2" I had to drive a miata once... I coulnd't see anything, my head poked into the convertable top cause crazzy blind spots , I could only see downwards to the sidescause my eye level was above the side edge of the convertable top
I hear that, I'm 6'4 and I drove my friends miata and I felt like I was driving a clown car.

I fit in mine just fine. If your tall it will be hell...if your fat, it will be hell no. I won't kid you they are small inside..especially the 1st gens.

I sat in a new and fit just fine. I am 6' 160lbs. The older ones I can't say.
i fit new the old and new, i'm 5'10" and about 180
ill have to find a mazda dealer and test fit in one, id really like her to get a rx-7 so i could do some mods to it but way too expensive.
lol...if you want her to have something really reliable, RX7 is NOT the way to go.

If your looking at a miata why not look at the solstice?
why do you have to fit in HER car? just asking i know you said you'll need to drive it sometimes. but why? i think i've drove my lady's CRX a total of once in a whole year. It shouldn't matter if you fit, if you don't that's your deal...shink (LOL) j/k
