I have a 2003 S-10 with a 4-cylinder. It loses a lot of power whenever the fan kicks on. Does any one know where I can get a kit to convert my belt driven radiator fan to an electric fan? I found some universal electric fans from Summit Racing but I am kind of iffy about getting one because I may hook the wires wrong and the fan will not kick on when I want it to and that type of thing. Another reason is fitment of the fan to the radiator. If any one knows where I can find a kit or if any one has done the conversion, please let me know. Thank you!

I belive you need a fan out of a Ford taurus. However,it has been years so my memory is foggy. Check out s10forums.com this is a common problem with the 4cyl and alot of people have swapped in the electric fans. Just search in the 2.2 section.
