So i picked up a 1990 civic for pretty cheap and it is manual of course and gets better gas milage than my 94 cav.

That 95 z 5 spd you had would have been perfect for the w41/H.O. swap....

I had the exact same car but it was an '89. I broke the timing belt and my dad and I put a new one on it, but it was never quite the same. I was driving soon after replacing the timing belt and I'm guessing I the engine locked up because the cam gear sheared off lol. I towed it to my back yard and it sat for nearly a year and then sold it to some dude in Iowa for $400. I had planned to swap a B series engine into it but those plans went out the window when I bought my GTO.

It burned oil like it was its job and had zero power, but it was actually a fun little car before it died.

Here's a picture of it chillin in my back yard, waiting patiently for the day it would roam the streets again.
