As unbelievable this might sound, it seems to be true. 3 engine prototypes have been stolen out of Porsche's development center: two conventional and one engine of the future. And they have been found... no one will ever expect that: in the
Techart garage (one of the biggest Porsche tuners).
As a result, Porsche sued TechArt for theft, but TechArt say they have bills for everything they bought. It seems that TechArt has ordered an engine for their 997 Turbo, but what they received wasn't what that they asked for and this is how they got into trouble.
Until now, four people are in jail, two leasing-managers of Porsche, and two customers. If TechArt has anything to do with this, they will be out of business for good.
Some car they produced.

uh oh you said 'civic' and dj saw you.. watch out
My trust in Techart has been abolished.
Yeah, TechArt does make some pretty bitchin Porsche's. Id rather put my trust is RUF. I think they have been around longer, plus from reading my Road and Track Mag (july issue). The TechArt's dont really do that much to performance. You would think with 600bhp you would be able to run low 11s high 10s, but they ran 11.5 in the 1/4 mile. And, I think they are highly over priced.

I thought only SR20's would make a good premium two weeks before race wars.
