I was wondering at what speed the governor cuts the engine off on a 2008 Cobalt LS with the 2.2 ecotec?
is it the same as the cavalier or what?
From what I read, it's 110, but it could actually be 108 as well. It's hard to tell exactly when you're going that fast.
my brother has a 07 with the 5spd, and hit 113 with no issues, but the limiter kicked in then. On Cobalt forums people have hit 120+, in fact, my friend used to have a LS Sedan, i think 06, and hit 127, but it was SCREAMING

he's not asking how to bypass it, just what the limit is.
however, you shouldn't be going those speeds on public roads. even though cobalts are newer, they still aren't made to handle those speeds, not to mention it's illegal and dangerous.

I dunno who'd win... the Arizonians can deal with extreme Dry heat... while the southern Californians are used to 70 degrees year around... but Cali has the Arnold... i think AZ would lose
