I think one of the "I"s stands for Ignition, but that's the extent of my knowledge...
Googled it...
It stands for Integrated Direct Ignition
Now we just need to figure out what that means...

I sell an overlay which you place in the middle part were it says ecotec. I am not aware of anybody who sells the entire piece like Carbon by Design used to.
Jason at APlusPerformance sells those, too. He can make them for you with the "Ecotec" in your choice of vinyl.

i had this one mine , from rk sport, it was ok needed some trimin and holes made bigger to fit right but it was ok

Ha HA Isn't that the same thing as above. thats the resivour cover not the IDI.
Its not the reservoir cover, its the ECOTEC cover. Covers the whole top of the engine.
And I used to have it and you do NOT want it. Makes the engine look like crud in my opinion. Check out my CarDomain site (accessible from bluecavcustoms.com) if you want to see how it uglifies an engine bay!

yes, i believe you are correct. that looks like it is the same as above. i do not agree that it is the "reservoir cover".
