There are a few pictures in the GP forum that some customers have posted... Look for the Cavalier/Sunfire fender GP.

Weird, I never had trouble with mine cracking. I was running the f1's with no
inner fender. Even with rocks hitting the inside of the fender they never showed
any cracks.

unless you cut out holes in your engine bay to vent the motor~ dont put that crap on your car. its not a z3 or m5 or z4 or z8... vented fenders are stoopid. get an aluminum wing for you fwd car while you`re at it

I think most people who change their fenders are more concerned with the look than the performance.

it looks stupid. i understand wanting something different than stock---- if thats the case make something..... if you wanna do things for looks pick something thats tasteful and flows....why not vent your trunk or your doors then? oh cause vents make a car look fast right? if you want to make it look fast put abunck of unnessasary guages and lime green paint and rocket cans and neons cause they look great too.... excess holes for better looks is a joke. its just funny how people try to justify the rediculous. kits are good for looks. good paint is good for looks. people will take the time to shave a door handle that serves a purpose for a clean look then bolt on a piece of fiberglass with a useless hole in it... ironic...i used to want some fenders like that but i realized that i wanted it to look different but then every car gets the same fenders.... just because they make it, doesnt mean someone should buy it. useless crap from factory is one thing but useless stuff on purpose is pointless.... i feel the same way with bodykits. only like things made for specific cars... ie rksports kits and gm perfomance kits and closer to my neck of the woods- roush and saleen and cobra r parts for my car.... universal parts mass produced so every car can look the same but different than it did out of the box is tacky. may as well do a headlight conversion from some random car and really make it look stupid. sorry but take astep back and you will get what i mean.

it's really all about opinion...i got my fenders because they do flow with my car. You may or may not agree...i don't care. But it's a show car, so things are there for show...and if you want to get into the whole functionality part of it...they are lighter then the stock metal fenders which would lessen the weight for the track. And the fenders are not universal, they are made for sunfires...so I don't understand what you're really trying to say. Your opinion is you don't like them. Thanks fine. But don't put the guy down for wanting to do exterior modifications to his car.

Re: Need pics of Fires with vented fenders...

the stock fenders should be lighter than those. you have a perfectly valid point about my opinions. i also am a bedwetter and my thoughts are very very elitest too. thanks for not being rude about that too.... i like the fenders you have but i disagree with having them i think it clutters the car if its a non stock hood...

im a jerk anyways.

LOL You know... I always get a kick out of all the people who try to push their personal opinions onto others when it had nothing to do with the original post. Personally I don't think there is anything wrong with the fenders. I think they "look" nice. But hey they's just my opinion. If someone else doesn't like them, that's just their opinion... not a fact. Fact is I didn't pay $8,000 for someone else to tell me what to do with my car. Yeah it's nice to make your car go fast and all that other nice stuff. I myself am a big fan of people who like to make their cars "fast"... but then again the same way people on here have their "opinions" on what looks good and what doesn't look good on their cars, what these people consider "fast" is all subject to opinion as well. What you consider "fast" may not be considered "fast" at all to someone else.
What is it that makes people think that there is this "golden rule" of make your car fast before making it look good? What if the car belongs to someone who never intends on driving his/her car any faster than it can already go? Then why would that person waste their time and money on mods they would never actually use? What if this person just wanted to make their car stand out a little from all the other stock ones driving around their town? Is that a crime? I don't think so... but hey... that's just my personal opinion. Do you also criticize a person who puts a nice set of wheels on their car, but never ever gets anything to make their car "fast"? What about people who get ram air hoods for looks, and never ever get anything else to be quote on quote "fast"?
I mean hell... it's not your car so who gives a s***, lol? Or does it make you feel more like a man to point out that someone elses car is umm... "slower than yours..." But that slow car can still look "cooler than yours..." In the end it all boils down to personal tastes and what "YOU" want to do with "YOUR" car. Me? I'd like to go for a little bit of both. Yeah I'd love to make my car go fast as hell and all but I know I'll probably never afford to do most of the mods I'd like to do that could make it as fast as I'd want it to go... but that doesn;t mean I won't get things for it that would quote on quote... "make it ... faster" but I also love how good the Sunfire looks as well even stock as it is. But I definitely wouldn't mind making it stand out a little bit from the rest. What wrong with that? Just because you get an exhaust and an intake or whatever else you would like to add to your "stock looking" car doesn't mean you're gonna be the fastest car out there. I still remember one day I raced another Sunfire with a loud as exhaust on a long empty highway on my way to New York City for work from the smal town I live in PA. This guy really though he was a hotshot with his "loud" exhaust and whatever else he might have had, but the funny thing is he couldn't keep up with my stock 03 Eco Fire. Yeah he was "loud"... but that's pretty much it. Personally if I intended on buying a "FAST" car I probably would have gotten a "Sunfire". Don't get me wrong though... I LOVE MY CAR, lol. It's just a flat out good lookin' car and it has a decent ammount of sporty perfomance as well for a daily driver vehicle, but if I want a fast car I can always go out and buy a Vette, or a Lotus or a whatever else I felt was fast enough according to my own "personal opinion". My point is... You want to make your car go fast? Go ahead. You want to make your car look good or just a stand out a little from the stock versions? Hell why not? You want to drive your car off a cliff into a river? Knock yourself out. Whatever floats your boat.... er... car I mean. It's your car right? Do whatever the hell you want with it.

Bashing my signature and having the one you have is ironic. We all buy things for looks partially. Not stating to not look good but to but things to look like it has performance and then to make it just for looks is kinda strange.most of us thought euros where gréat looking too. I agree stock cars look dumb but its gotta be tasteful at the same time.

I killed this post. Someone post some self made fenders.

If you were looking for something fast stock i sure wouldnt have bought a mustang GT. I loved walking stangs in my LT4 camaro. Go over to the F-body forum, those boys will eat you alive. By the looks of your mod list on your old cav it looks like you had alot of useless mods also. Stop being a dick.
