Well i wanna do a dual exhaust on my sunfire, but i wanna keep the stock look. I noticed that some sunfires have a rear bumper that has spotts for dual exhaust but only have one and then i seen some that have factory dual exhaust with the bumper. i've seen alot of differnet kinds too. So my question is what sunfires came with the the dual exhaust bumpers and does anyone have pics of them? would the newer rear bumpers with the back-up lights in then fit on my 98 Sunfire?


1998 Sunfire, 2.2L auto

only the sunfire GT was available with duel exhaust.

im not sure how new you can go with the bumper cover.

my 98 Sunfire GT has dual exhaust

- '95-'99 GTs (obviously)


- '00-'02 SEs and GTs (the rear bumpers on the SEs and GTs are exactly the same)


- '03+ Coupes


^ Those are all the Sunfire models that have the two raised parts on the underside of the rear bumper. You can put a bumper from any year Sunfire on yours. Obviously if you chose to put an '03+ bumper you would need the taillights and the trunk I believe, but for the '00-'02 all you would need is the bumper and the backup light housings. Hope this helps.
