paint codes

anyone know where the paint code is on a 96 cavalier? it's right at the front of the compartment on my 89, but i did a complete engine out rebuild on my 96 and it was nowhere to be found. i checked the doors, trunk, and glove box- no go. it's a strange little color, almost like a light purple with a pink metallic... it does get noticed, but unfortunatelly when people see a 6'2" 285 guy get out of a pink car, some eyebrows do raise...

It happens alot. The paint code was not wrong but the alternative was. There are usually differenet variations of the same paint code. Especially silver. That is why everyone should do a spray out before they even paint the car.

Yeah, I got some touch-up paint for my car from Murrays... it was exactly the right code, but the paint doesn't match at all. I was pissed.

Wow. I thought I got made fun of. 6' 3", 290 pounds, and my Cavalier is purple. But pink? Wow.
