I'm thinking about getting these mirrors soon. I would like to hear from people who already have them. Let me know what you think of them
Do you have a harder time seeing out of them compare to the OEM mirrors?
hell ya. the reflection on mine SUCKED. i got used to it after a week, and i didnt notice it. I got mine from ebay though, thats more than likely why they sucked.
Anyone else have any opinions ?
i loved the blue tint mine have to them
compared to stock the mirror is smaller
but still works the same
just gotta adjust them...
i got used to mine that same day...
Do you have to run a special wire to the turn signal to get these to work?
Overstock,
No interest
Just cause they can.
Who knows.
I got my signal mirrors for 99 cents.
But now they're up to minimum $20 now.
So if you can getem cheap go for it.

Remember....syringes go in the RED waste basket.
Did you need a special bracket for them?
mine came with the bracket
and you can wire it to your signal wire in your column
or wire it all the way to your turn signal by your head light
Is it pretty easy wiring up to the column or at the turn signal by the head light?
APC discontinued their 95% of their M3 mirrors (even though they may still be shown on their website) like 2 years ago. Evidently, they weren't profitable anymore due to a decline in consumer demand. Now there's a lot of places that still
have them and are trying to get rid of them. Hence, the uber-cheap auction prices on Ebay.
The mirrors shown above are indeed APC mirrors (I know because I also got mine from 4caroptions for $9.99, LOL ). Things you should consider before buying about them:
- Yes, you'll have a reduced viewing area
- It's not uncommon for the glass to shake with movement or vibrations (on one or both mirrors).
- For $12 you should get 'em. There once was a time when people had to pay upwards of $90 for these.
Before buying any aftermarket mirrors, make sure they're not the kind that come in 2pcs (universal bracket + mirror).
Those mirrors aren't specifically designed for our cars and tend to fit really funny (Except Erebuni mirrors, which come
in a 2 piece format and supposedly fit well). You may have seen people driving around with odd-angled mirrors like the
ones shown here:
I hope that this helps!

Anyone know if these are the "made to fit our cars" mirrors or the "stick out like Will Smith's ears" mirrors?

if you want them to "hug" the car...i would recommend some Bomex style mirrors...lil more expensive..but look gorgeous imo
cavi power1 <--titus' old car had them on...
from what I read the bomex mirrors have a huge blind spot. I wonder if the M3 mirrors are really that bad when it comes to blind spots too. If so I think I may just keep my factory mirrors
if you really bothers you that much that the mirror is gonna smaller than aftermarket mirrors are prolly not for you
I'll probably get them then get those little mirrors they sell at auto zone that sticks to the side mirrors so you can see your blind spots
that would look HORRIBLE imo...
its a cavalier....not a F350

With M3 mirrors your viewing area will be reduced but your blind spot doesn't really change. You'll be fine so long as you still check over your shoulder before you commit to a lane change.
Like Ozzie said, if it's a real concern for you I would simply avoid getting any aftermarket mirrors in the first place. Slapping on those stick-on mirrors from Autozone will essentially negate any aesthetic appeal that you gained from the M3s anyways.

I wasn't referring to those extended mirrors I was talking about those small mirrors that actually stick on the mirror itself that cost like $2
