can anyone help me out?? i need to get sum GM color matched paint... but i dont know the exact (according to GM) paint name and part number and pricing n such... anyone know anything??

why not ask a local paint shop around you to make you a can?

what color are we talking about here? if its a stock GM color it should be very easy to get, and price really depends on brand

Your stock paint code should be in the trunk near the spare tire, and price will really depend on the brand of paint used.

under the spare tire cover, you will find some numbers and letters that are posted next to "BC/CC"

i wanna say its called "ultra silver metallic" but im not sure if thats the exact name for it... anyone got a spare 32oz can layin around anywere?? lol...

if you get the code and the "wa number" i think i have some from my own car which is the same color, if the code is the same but this will be ppg dbc system

my code was 8867 for my silver cavy it cost me about 150 for a quart which included everything reducer, clear coat, hardener and the paint

this is correct 00+ cavi's are ultra silver metallic the paint code is 8867, and pricing depends on where you go i can get it in a gallon of DuPont for $230, mine used to be silver and now i'm starting to miss it

i think Big Daddy was saying DBC......Deltron Base Coat. I assume

Deltron is a PPG line of paint

could be wrong but thats my assumption

you can also use your vin number and the dealer can give the info for the paint
