I've already blacked out a couple tail lights using VHT night shades but i was wondering who has used it on there headlights? How dark can you go without completely losing all light output? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Don't do the headlights man, i tried on a pair of headlights i had from my moms car and even with only 3 layers i couldn't see @!#$.You can see the outline of the headllight looking at it, but there was like no output i saw on the road when inside car. Looked cool, i like how her car is all green with everything VHT'd, but not practical.

I don't know this is just my experience with trying to tint the headlights, hope this helps some man.
