To those of you with white cars....have you ever noticed little orange rust colored spots in the paint on your cars.....ive always wondered what these were and how can you get rid of them and prevent them from happening?

yep, had them ALL over my paint when i first got my car.

here's what you need to do... some of it is optional, i am just a little anal so where there is a *, its optional.

1.) *hand wash it * with a nice soft microfiber mitt and lots of soap. make sure you scrub extremely well, every square inch of paint.

2.) * rinse with a bucket of purified drinking water *, and chamois dry.

3.) go buy a MOTHERS clay bar kit, clay bar the entire car from top to bottom. twice if need be, this is the process that takes those spots out.

4.) use the provided wax and go to town on it. *wax it twice *.

5.) step back and enjoy your paints new found amazing shine and gloss.

i am unsure of the reason they appear, probably due to lack of washing regularly or not waxing/maintaining your paint. to ensure they dont come back just keep it washed after you've driven in rain and or snow. and every 6 months or so, clay bar it. IMO the car should be waxed every month on a daily driver, BUT its not needed. every few months is just fine. all depends on how anal you are i guess.

In the end, we're all just chalk lines on the concrete.. drawn only to be washed away.
