Jay!!! How the hell are you? Still have the Cav?

I still come around here every so often, although it's really dead these days. I sold my Sunfire GT in June of 2008 and regretted it immediately. While browsing used Sunfires on Craig's List in January of 2017, I came across it listed for sale. The following weekend I drove ~500 miles round trip to Green Bay, WI to get it back and am currently, (very) slowly working on restoring it to its former glory and than some.

Well Holy Moly, guess what is finally back on the road?

Problem is I wonder if this old 14 year old car can handle the speed it's been getting the last few weeks....

Even though it sat for the last 6 years, I'm glad I didn't get rid of it......oh the memories!

After digging through the basement today I found a box labeled "PC Stuff 2007", to my surprise it had a old zip drive with a couple zip disc.
After some playing around and getting it up and running, the disc a notepad file with a bunch of logins and passwords on it.

Good to see this site is still up and running, been a long time since I have been on here (11 years), joined in 01 when I was 22 year old kid
that spent every friday night a meets and runs. Now I near 40 and spend my Friday nights ordering pizza and watching movies with my wife
and daughters....times sure do change!

Oh hell I suppose I better check in as well. This be my first post in probably 12 or so years! My last J died in 2010. Blew the motor on my 03 ls sport and havnt had a J since. Although they may change come later 2day. I found an 89 Z24 Convertible that may end up on mu garage. Solid, decent shape and something to monkey around with. This was a solid community back in the day when I had my cars. I was 19 when I joined. Wow has time passed.

I'm still around. red car is still red. Runs fine when I drive it, but Arizona wont let me register it because of mis-matched vins. so I don't drive it a ton. I will have the VIN problem fixed soon enough (finally have to get a real tune). Gonna do a few updates but nothing major, and drive it as a fun sorta DD, and at the track sometimes. No more of the crazy build stuff for me. Gonna work on moving the heat exchanger up into the bumper a bit sometime soonn, and that might be the only modding that is actual done. From now on will just be maintaining.

Old guy here, checking in, I have no idea how or why I stumbled back on j-body, but it’s cool to see it still running. Can’t remember when I joined and guessing 99.9999999% of people on this site have no clue who I am, but it’s nice to reminisce, had a lot of great memories on here, with the cavalier, special shout out to JCI, btw. OHHH, now I remember, wasat target last nite and saw a bunch of “kids” hanging out with their custom cars just shooting the @!#$........ I remember when that was us, haha. Don’t get old boys, it sucks
