personally, i've been to a lot of different forums. i've seen these sponsor-paid sites. you have to fight through a jungle of ad banners and crap just to get to the forum, and even then almost half of the screen is still taken up with poorly made flashing .gif's that almost give a person a seizure to get their attention. no thanks. i'll pay to help support a clean, easy to use forum that cares more about its members and functionality than its sponsors.
