I know this is a kinda a noobie question......

Im trying to tow my cavalier to my mechanic but i dont have a dolly..

Should i be fine to tow just like that?

Im not going to turn on the car... because of bearing issues problably and oil pump too...

its going to be at most 3 miles only .... should i be fine or the transmission is going to get damaged???

We recently had a post like this...

Its a fwd car so if the front wheels are off the ground (and they will be with a dolly) you dont have to worry about any transmission stuff.

Towing with a chain..... for short Distances (all 4 wheels on the ground) just put it in neutral....

Towing longer distances with the drive wheels on the ground..... If its a manual just put it in neutral (unless its a really long ways), if its an auto remove the drive shaft.
