I think the engine is the same but the pulleys and brackets are different

pulleys have an extra rib on the s-10s otherwise the same. Same diameters.

My favorite kill story i have from my Z24 days. was years ago that i smoked a kid in an S10 Xtreme when he challenged me to a race im my Z24 on an old farm road. At the stop light he claimed he had a turbo in his 4 banger xtreme. I laughed because at the time (2001'ish) As a JBO member I knew first hand that there were no turbo kits for the 2200 sohc cavaliers....so i knew he didn't have one on his truck So i took him up on his offer to run it.
Well my Z24 blasted him on green.

When he caught up to me at the next light he refused to look at me, so i just chuckled and said "Hmmmm, looks like you had a little lag on your fake turbo back there huh?"
His passenger busted out laughing. When that light went green he lit the tires and bolted off.
