Back to a J-Body
Tuesday, August 24, 2010 7:09 PM
hey guys...i finally came back here with another sunfire after a couple of years. Since my last sunfire ive had a 97 cutlass 2 door and an 89 chevy 4x4 truck w/ sport package.

So the new car i just got today is a 2002 Sunfire SE coupe. Its dark green in color, 2200 OHV, 4 spd auto, sunroof, and only 96k miles on it. i paid $1800 for her. AFTER buying it, i found out the rear crossmember (thats what i would call it; the part of the unibody that looks like frame that runs almost paralel to the rear axle beam) has rotted at one end. also, the girl that sold it said it had new tires on it....it needs 4 new tires. UGH.
i will try to get some pics up tomorow though. let me know what you think

Nice find. 1800 for a 02 with decent miles isnt bad. I say fix the body, and play with her a little bit. U apparently love the J's bc you came back just as many of us have Goodluck!
