RKSPORT GRILL MESH - KARO - Jason, anyone???
Thursday, July 10, 2008 8:04 PM
So I went to wash my car today and noticed that a piece of my grill mesh is gone, anyone know where I can get some? It is really good mesh, I love it and don't know where to get some to match the rest. It came with my kit and I love how it looks, not like gutter guard, very shiney and no corrosion or anything like that and it is a few years old. I need some replacements.

Can I buy some????

If so how much?

Or does anyone have a piece?

Please and thanks in advance.

1 of the side pieces for the front bumper. Yes the Type-J

If you have it, how much are you willing to part with it for?

I believe rksport sells the mesh fit for front and rear bumpers for like 70 bucks or something, and everything they have is 15% off right now

Did you find out for sure if you have the mesh? If so will $20 be enough for it?

I recommend having all the mesh powdercoated, I bought a set from Samantha on here after she sold her car that she already had powdercoated silver. It looked a million times better than without it. I never got to put it on the car tho, I took the Type J kit off and sold it to someone and gave them the extra mesh along with it when I was planning on doing a WW W Type front lip. I would definitely have them powdercoated, helps with rust from the salty a$$ michigan roads....

RK mesh is awesome.

Mine rock-chipped instantly on the '97 though, but of course it was 'blasted and 'coated and I never had a problem since. The mesh is so sturdy it helped even out the waves in the IF opening .
