How hard is it to change the tranny fluid in a 2000 A4 Z24? I was needing to get it changed b/c I have about 76,000 miles. Is there any trick to doing it? I didn't want to do the full flush and everything, b/c though that might not do it any good since it hasn't been changed yet?

Change the fluid & filter. I do it every 40,000 miles on my GM cars and have not had a transmision problem since i've been driving (1974). DO NOT do a "flush"!!! Bad stuff there, my dad fell for that and within 5000 miles the trans was shot.

Is that the same way for the 2000? I noticed on mine that there isn't a dip-stick? How do I tell when it is full? Thanks!
