Car in question is a 1996 cavalier Z24 with fog lights
I recently noticed that one of my low beams was out so i replaced the bulbs and this did not remedy the problem. i checked all the fuses ant they were good. about two days later the other low beam went out. i checked the fuses and the bulbs again and they were good. i also replaced the multi function switch on the steering collum and still no luck. the high beams work just fine but i can't drive like that forever. plus it wont pass state inspection. any ideas?

Im having that problem in my car too, i have a 97 cav. My passenger low beam stops working then after a week or something, the other driver side stops working too, my drl is not working either, how bout yours?! i cant figure out whats wrong with it, so im using high beam at night time. (Luckily, i didnt get pulled over yet). Haha.

Btw, I also checked the the fuses and I changed both low beam bulbs and its still not working.

Is yours a 2.2l or a 2.4dohc? i asked the dealer if it might be the relays and all they told me is it is a bad fuse or a bad bulb the relays usualy dont go bad. i find that hard to believe since it is an electronic device and all electronics are doomed to fail at some point.
my drl's have been disabled( I hated them) but the lights worked just fine 3 years since i did the DRL mod. for simple mods check out www.bradiscool.com
