HI...I have a 2001 Sunfire with a bad rear wheel speed sensor (abs) Grand am is supposed to interchange, but I looked at one and the hub was different from mine. I found a 97 Sunfire for parts, its not exactly close by so I have to drive an hour to see it.. I would just like some input from someone in the know...Is the hub the same as mine ? Is the wheel speed sensor electronics mounted on the rear of the hub ? Thanks

the hub on the 1997 sunfire will be the same as your 2001. IMO just buy a new wheel speed sensor there pretty cheap.

as for the electronics im not sure.

I picked those parts up, the fellow gave me the entire hub, they seem relatively the same other then the older sensors seem to have a metal housing and my original is plastic. Ive participated in many online forums and never seen that hidden message trick before...very cool. Thanks for the responses
