Well my friends car is not firing on all cyn. As stated 2 & 3 are not firing, they thought it was the plugs but it wasnt. The code that it through was a misfire so they replace the coils thought that it solved the problem but that didnt work.
Now they said when they took out a plug it appeared to have coolant in the cell. They are kind of out of options and i have no clue so if any of the jbo famila can help them out i would appriciate it.
i should have mentioned its a 2.2 ecotec
what it sounds like is you blew the head gasket around cyl 2&3 and coolant is being pumped in to the cylinder?
is coolant coming out of the tailpipe?
anyways pull the spark plugs from 1 and 4 and swap them with 2 and 3 and see if that helps
it probably wont and if not change the head gasket

$91 for a cometic head gasket
They said they pulled 2 and 3 and grounded the plugs 1 and 4 sparked but 2 & 3 are dead no spark what so ever. What could cause two cells to become completely dead ?
well that is strange have them swap plug wires from 1&3 - 2&4 and see if there is spark then plug wires may be the culperate
found out what it was, it was the ignition control module they swaped it out on another eco and it worked out perfect so now off to the pick and pull thanks for the help though.
