yeh my trac off light came on one day after i was just driving around...what could be the prob...could it be a wheel bearing?

Did it pop on then a min later go off? if so u just hit a slick spot no biggie. or did u happen to put it in 3(3rd gear) instead of D(drive).

I want to say usually that runs with the abs system so if it comes on you should also have the ABS light come on and stay on eventually. That would indicate a sensor is bad at one of the wheels for the abs. Easy to replace if you find out which one. Mine only does this in the very cold weather (which is when I need ABS the most). I assume one of the sensor gets ice built up around it and it can't read.

this would cause a trac low light.
mine comes on every once in a while and goes off later. If you use the search button youll see that when most people get this , they also have the ABS light come on also. mine has never come on with the ABS only by itself. I just dont worry about it.

well i have turned the trac on and off before, but now it says trac off and when i hit the button nothing happens..

Is the daytime running indicator flashing also? I think if the the daytime running lights are not working, for some strange reason it also disables the traction control...
