so im drivin down the highway the other night, slowed down because im coming up to a red light, downshifted into 2nd and coasted forward doing about 15. the light turned green before i stopped so i gave it some gas, got to about 3500RPM's and....

BANG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!


stuff was flying everywhere under my hood.... and look what i found the next day hiding behind my A/C compressor and belt tensioner...





i have the best luck, this engine is only a month old.... luckily the company i bought it from is going to replace it for free. so i dont have to put the bare block in my garage together right away.... it's just waitin to be built...

Wow thats crazy, Did u have any warning signs of a knock or a loud top ticking sound?. Looks like you thrown a connecting rod through the block. Hope u get youre ride fixed soon.

nope nothin at all, and i know what it was, just showing it off a bit as a warning for some people. but i had no notice, no strange noises, no knock, not even a tic... i found a piece of the rod on top of the A/C compressor. it was completely destroyed, it was in about 5 pieces...
