I just bought my babydoll a 99 Z-24 ragtop. High high miles, motor is very quiet and it drives like a dream. Body a 7 with very very little rust. Problem is when we put the top up the driver side rear window stops about approximately a 1/4 inch from mating to the driver side front window. I suspect the window gear jumped a tooth. Then again I could be wrong.

If you think I am right how do I adjust the timing? If you believe me to be wrong, what possibly is the problem and how do I fix it? Mommas loves the car, and as all married men know, when mommas happy everyone is happy.
Every day is a GREAT day. Its what you do with it that can mess it up.
You have to take off the rear quarter panel inside the car, and adjust the window stops and timing there. There's a post with the contents of the convertible adjustments manual from GM somewhere on this forum... I think it's a sticky too. Take a look around
