Bleeding clutch, new master, still %#$*ed

I've been having a problem with my clutch for a couple months now (2001 Z24). You'd get in to start it and the pedal would just drop to the floor. Then you'd have to sit there and push and pull repeatedly till there was pressure again...So I got a new master cylinder (old one was even making noise). I replaced it earlier tonight and started to bleed it...the air bubbles just wouldn't quit (didn't even start to get better after about 20 minutes). Now it's COMPLETELY dead it's like it got worse. I was gonna try a vaccum bleeder, but the only place that was open was Sears and I think I can find one for less than 60 bucks somewhere else...Think this will help?...I'm even thinking it's suckin air in somewere, prolly at the quick disconnect. I was counting on takin my car to work in the morning, but looks like I'm ridin the bike again and stoppin at an autoparts store for the pump on the way home. Anything would help at this point.

Are you bleeding it correctly? I'm guessing it's worse now cause you let too much fluid out while bleeding it.

Well I bought a vaccum bleeder and basically bench bled the master...have good pressure in that...then once I hook up the quick disconnect, I lose some pressure. I can work the pedal in and out and i build up pressure, but it doesn't last. I tried using the pump with everything connected and I just get a slow, even stream of bubbles. Now I'm thinking it's the slave/throw-out which sucks...I don't really have the time to drop the trans and I don't feel like paying an arm and a leg to have a garage do it. Anyone ever have a problem with the o-ring at the quick disconnect leaking? If so, what'd you do to fix it?

Spray some soapy water around the quick disconnect, if it bubbles when you press the clutch in and out you likely have a leak there. I'm thinking your issue is probably the slave though.
