Alright I'm tired of throwing parts at this I hoping the intelligent minds of the org can help me.
It is a 96 2.4l with a p0301 --- cylinder 1 misfire
Parts I have replaced in order
Spark plugs
New ignition coil
Injector from junkyard
Moved number one plug just to rule out that it isn't fouled
I'm going to see if the fuel filter is clogged tomorrow afternoon is there anything else I can check.
Well I did a little more searching and found this
cylinder 1 misfire
Guess I'll try the housing

yes the housing would be a good thing to change, and did you check compression?
No I didn't check compression. The car only has 70,000 and doesn't smoke at all. I don't think it's compression. I'll probably get the housing from the yard in a couple days.
If that don't fix it, is compression the only other thing left?
