I have a 89 Sunbird gt with an automatic transmission that I purchased a year ago, when I picked the car up the cruise switch and rod were broken off and tucked under the dash still plugged in but out of sight, and a standard signal light arm in it's place so I never noticed the cruse control didn't work til after I replaced the engine.

I have checked all the fuses in the fuse panel and they all are good, everything electrically works as it should.

The cables are in good shape with no binding, vacuum line is connected and I have tried two different switches....still nothing.
Anyone know about problems with the cruse control system I would appreciate a bit of insight.
