Hello Everyone!
I don't post here much, but I'm working on my Sister's Cavalier. She's been experiencing an issue where when she slows off the freeway (in drive) the car will die. I figured it was the TCC Solenoid, but I'm curious how hard it is to do on her car?
Is it similar to the older cars, where you remove the side access cover on the trans and voila it's there, or does the valve body and all?
Any help is great.
Thanks,
Joe
I forgot to add, it's a 3 speed.
Found the part on Rockauto, now I'm just trying to figure out the difficulty.
I had actually searched and found that. I just wanted to make sure that it was the same as the older cars, and didn't want to resurect a "thread from the dead".
Thanks!
In my opinon it should be the same thing, Of course 3 spd auto and a 4 spd auto I am assuming the the plastic plug harness pin would be different. Also depends if you are doing this job or the shop is. I don't think it would be that difficult. Depends on mechanical incline.
good Luck.
